Oneof the potential hits in a shooter this year. The game, built on theprinciples of Half-Life 2, uses the engine UnrealEngine 3 and remindsMass Effect, which in the recommendations do not need. TheScourge Project is a new multiplatform shooter featuring a unique focuson co-operative narrative and gameplay. The Scourge Project is astory-driven 3rd person shooter game built from the ground up forco-op, where up to 4 players each experience a personal story whilstplaying together as a squad.

This,together with an episodic formula and digital distribution allows us tooffer high quality and a lower final cost for the player. In theScourge production, TV shows like “Lost” inspired the development teamas we were working on the game's story. With Episodes 1 and 2 we wantto tell a complete story, but leaving room for future episodes toresolve unanswered questions and bring to light all of the game'smysteries. At the foundation of this is the social co-op element of thegame: we want our
public to actively participate in the futuredevelopment of the plot and characters”.The game will come on a special2 episode bundle with more than 5 hours of gameplay spanning 4 completelevels, up to 4 Player Co-op Campaign Mode, 4 Unique PlayableCharacters to choose from, an arsenal of weapons and special abilities,thrilling boss-fights and environmental puzzles. The Scourge Projectwill have multiplayer modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch,Capture The Flag and Frontiers, all of which allow up to 16 Players.
